Mr. Gerbrandt recently sang the title role of Il Barbiere Di Siviglia with Opera Theatre of Lakeland, and was Anthony in Sweeney Todd with the Augusta Opera.

Susanna – The Marriage of Figaro

 

Ms. Logan most recently appeared as Adina in Santa Fe 's Opera spring tour of Elixar of Love . She made her European debut as Susanna in Le Nozze d Figaro with Opera Theatre and Music Festival of Lucca, Italy.

Katherine Pracht ,

Guenevere – Camelot

 

Ms. Pracht recently sang the world premiere of John Tavener's "Tu ne sais pas" for mezzo and chamber orchestra in her debut with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia conducted by Ignat Solzhenitsyn. Ms. Pracht has been a Metropolitan Opera National Council Regional Finalist in San Antonio , Memphis , and twice in Minneapolis , where, in 2006, she won the Outstanding Mezzo Award.

Andrew Wilkowske

Figaro – The Marriage of Figaro

 

Mr. Wilkowske's future engagements include reprises of Noah ( Grapes of Wrath ) with Pittsburgh Opera and Opera Pacific; Ford ( Falstaff ) with Opera Roanoke; and Gepetto in the U.S. premiere of Jonathan Dove's The Adventures of Pinocchio with Minnesota Opera.

Opera Companies: Minnesota Opera, Indianapolis Opera, Eugene Opera, and the Skylight Opera.

Magdalena Wór

Cherubino – The Marriage of Figaro

 

Ms. Wor is a First Place Winner of the Heinz Rehfuss Vocal Competition, a Metropolitan Opera Competition National Finalist, and an alumna of several prestigious training programs including the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program at the Washington National Opera.

Opera Companies: Washington National Opera, San Francisco Opera's Merola Opera Program, Opera Theatre of St. Louis , Atlanta Opera, and the Washington Concert Opera.

Katherine Altobello

Eliza Doolittle- My Fair Lady

Mezzo, returns to Ash Lawn Opera after her 2007 apprenticeship in which she sang the role of Leisl in the Sound of Music . Altobello has performed with Wildwood Opera, Brevard Music Center , Lexington Music and Theatre Company, and the Austin Symphony. Other roles include Mercedes in Carmen , Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady , Madame Larina in Eugene Onegin , and Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk . She holds a Bachelor from Southwestern University and a Master of Music in Voice from Indiana University .

 

Melina Pineda

Carmen- Carmen

Mezzo, joins Ash Lawn Opera for her second season after singing Anita in our 2006 production of West Side Story . She has sung roles such as Melanto in Il Ritonrno d”Ulisse in Patria and Suzuki in Madama Butterfly . Pineda has performed with Chicago Opera Theatre, Boston Lyric Opera, Knoxville Opera, and Florida Grand Opera. She earned her Master of Music in Opera Performance from The Boston Conservatory and holds a Certificate in Opera Performance from the Opera Institute at Boston University .

 

Christian Reinert

Don Josè- Carmen

Tenor, has sung with Minnesota Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Baltimore Opera, and Palm Beach Opera. He has gained critical acclaim after stepping into the role of Steva in Jenufa for Glimmerglass Opera, for which he had been a cover. Reinert also performed in L'Orfeo, The Greater Good , and Orphèe and sang Romèo in Minnesota Opera's Romeo et Juliette . Reinert graduated from Winona State University and went on to receive his Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, where he sang roles in Madame Butterfly , A Midsummer Night's Dream , Bèatrice and Benedict , and Die Zauberflote .

 

Rochelle Bard

Micaëla-Carmen

Soprano, was a Resident Artist at Opera San Josè this year, singing the roles of Gilda ( Rigoletto ) and Pamina ( The Magic Flute ). She has also sung with Opera San Josè as Lucia ( Lucia di Lammermoor ), Cio-Cio San ( Madama Butterfly ), Violetta ( La Traviata ), and Juliette ( Romèo et Juliette ). Bard has also worked with Baltimore Opera Company, Opera Boston, Tanglewood Music Center , and Longwood Opera. She was awarded the George London Foundation Competition's Honorable Mention in 2007 and was the winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions for the San Francisco Region in 2006. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master of Music from New England Conservatory.

Benjamin Werth

Escamillo-Carmen

Baritone, returns to Ash Lawn Opera; he was an apprentice in 2005. Mr. Werth recently sang his first Figaro in Opera Institute's Il barbiere di Siviglia . Mr. Werth also played an agile Papageno in The Magic Flute at the Institute. Other recent credits include Malatesta in Don Pasquale with

Opera Iowa, Le Podestat in Bizet's Le Docteur Miracle at Des Moines Metro Opera, and Barney in Central City Opera's 50th Anniversary production of The Ballad of Baby Doe . He sang the Jailor in The Dialogue of the Carmelites and Masetto in Don Giovanni at Manhattan School of Music, where he earned his master's degree. Mr. Werth earned his Bachelor of Music degree at Ohio State University .

Ross Benoliel

Schaunard- La Bohème

Baritone, has sung with the Chautauqua Opera, Pine Mountain Music Festival, Lake George Opera Festival, New Rochelle Opera, and Salt Marsh Opera. He was a semi-finalist in the 2006 Metropolitan Opera New England Regional finals, a finalist of the 2005 Jensen Foundation Competition, a finalist of the 2004 New England Regionals of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, a 2004 and 2003 recipient of an encouragement award from the Licia Albanese-Puccini Foundation. Mr. Benoliel is a graduate of the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia and holds a music degree in vocal performance from the University of Michigan . He has performed such roles as Guglielmo ( Cosí fan tutte ), Schaunard ( La Bohème ), Figaro ( If Barbiere di Siviglia ), Valentin ( Faust ) and Reverend John Wilson ( The Scarlet Letter ).

 

Matt Boehler

Colline- La Bohème

Bass, garnered much praise in the title role of Sweeney Todd during his 2005 residency with the Wolf Trap Opera Company. Other operatic highlights include Leporello in Don Juan in Prague , Frere Laurent in Roméo et Juliette , Pluto in Telemann's Orpheus , and Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia . Singing across the country and around the world, Mr. Boehler has performed with Wolf Trap Opera Company, Washington East Opera, Hawaii Opera Theater, and Prague Estates Theatre. On concert platform, he has been heard at Carnegie Hall in Bach's Magnificat and Charpentier's Te Deum . Upcoming performance roles include Leporello in Don Giovanni with Opera Lyra Ottawa and Chicago Opera Theater as well as Pooh Bah in the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis' performance of The Mikado .

 

 

Carelle Flores

Mimi- La Bohème

Soprano, has recently performed the roles of Adele ( Die Fledermaus ) and Susanna ( Le Nozze di Figaro ) with the Sarasota Opera and Mimí ( La Bohème ) and Constanze ( The Abduction from the Seraglio ) with the Indiana University Opera. She has also worked with such companies as DePauw Opera Theater, Portland Opera Performing Institute, Opera Carolina and Florida Grand Opera. She is a two-time winner of the DePauw University Concerto Competition, has received the Friends of Music Scholarship from Indiana University and is the 2007 MONC Alabama District winner. Ms. Flores holds a Master of Music from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Music from DePauw University , both in vocal performance.

 

Daniel Holmes

Rodolfo- La Bohème

Tenor, received a Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance at the Peabody Conservatory and an Artist Diploma from The Catholic University of America. He has worked with Sarasota Opera, Tri-Cities Opera, Washington Opera, Baltimore Opera, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, and Peabody Opera Theatre. He was performed such roles as Rodolfo ( La Bohème ), Roméo ( Roméo et Juliette ), and Alfredo ( La Traviata ). Mr. Holmes most recently made his concert debut with The Virginia Consort as soloist in Mozart's Requiem . He was the winner of the Arleen Auger Memorial Fund Career Award and the Kern Career Grant-The Sarasota Opera in 2005. Future engagements include productions of Macbeth with Dayton Opera in the role of Macduff.

 

Maryann Madden

Maria Rainer- Sound of Music

Soprano, has sung with Arizona Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Utah Opera, Sarasota Opera, and Amarillo Opera. She was the winner of the Metropolitan Opera Competition-Utah and Arizona Districts in 2005 and also the third place winner of the Heinz Rehuss Awards with Orlando Opera in 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Bowling Green State University in Ohio . Ms. Madden has performed such roles as Barbarina ( Le Nozze di Figaro ), Gretel ( Hansel and Gretel ), and Norina ( Don Pasquale ).

 

Kate Mangiameli

Museta- La Bohème

Anna Glawari- The Merry Widow 2006

Soprano, Her 2009-10 season includes Musetta in La bohème with Syracuse Opera and Mimi in La bohème with El Paso Opera. In 2008-09 she sang Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly with Florida Grand Opera; Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni for Eugene Opera; Countess in Le nozze di Figaro with Green Mountain Opera Festival; and Sibelius's Luonnotur , Dvorák's "Song to the Moon" from Rusalka , and Verdi's Requiem, all with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.

Recent highlights include Angelica in Handel's Orlando at Chicago Opera Theatre, Countess with Shreveport Opera, and an appearance as soloist in Shostakovich's Symphony No. 14 with the Atlantic Classical Orchestra. Recently, Ms. Mangiameli has performed with Florida Grand Opera as Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte and the High Priestess in Aida . She has also performed the roles of Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow and Musetta in La bohème with the Ash Lawn Opera Festival (Virginia).

Valerie Nicolosi

The Mother Abbess- Sound of Music

Mezzo Soprano, achieved her Bachelor's in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music and her Masters in Vocal Performance from the University of Tennessee .   She has received critical acclaim for leading operatic roles with Lake George Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Shreveport Opera, and St. Petersburg Opera.  In 2002, Miss Nicolosi debuted in the title role of Rossini's La Cenerentola with Opera Providence.  She continues to sing a wide variety of roles with opera companies around the US, including Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutte , Rosina in Barber of Seville,  Hermia and Oberon in Midsummer Night's Dream , Zerlina in Don Giovanni , Suzuki in Madame Butterfly , and Stephano in Roméo et Juliette .  This season she looks forward to appearing in the Opera Providence production of The Italian Lesson .

 

James Taylor

Captian Georg von Trapp- Sound of Music

Baritone, returns to Ash Lawn Opera this summer for the fourth year after previously performing Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music . He has performed with Opera Carolina, New York City Opera National Company, Hawaii Opera Theatre, El Paso Opera, Central City Opera, and Western Opera Theatre. Ms. Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from Birmingham-Southern College and a Master of Music in Opera Performance from Yale University . He has performed operatic roles such as Marcello ( La Bohème ), Figaro ( Barber of Seville ), Valentin ( Faust ), and Germont ( La Traviata ) as well as musical theatre roles such as The Pirate King ( Pirates of Penzance ) and Billy Bigelow ( Carousel ).

Corey McKern

Prince Danilo- The Merry Widow

Baritone, Corey McKern is receiving vast attention and acclaim in his promising young career. In the summer 2009, he returned to the Santa Fe Opera performing Masetto in Don Giovanni and covering Belcore in L'Elisir d'Amore . Throughout the 2009-2010 season, performances include Harlequin in Ariadne auf Naxos at the Indianapolis Opera, the Count in Le Nozze di Figaro in a return to Opera Birmingham, Gaylord Ravenal in Show Boat with the Pensacola Opera, Mahler's Ruckert Lieder with the Missoula Symphony, and a recital at the University of West Florida.

Michael Dailey

Camile- The Merry Widow

Tenor, whose voice was described by Opera News as being, “blessed with freshness.”  He is currently a member of Opera San Jose's resident company of principal artists having performed the roles of Lensky (Eugene Onegin), Nemorino (The Elixir of Love), Ferrando (Così fan tutte) and Don José (Carmen).  Mr. Dailey's other performances include Rodolfo (La bohème) with Portland Opera to Go and a European tour of 6 countries as Sportin' Life (Porgy and Bess) with the New York Harlem Production company. Karin Mushegain

Maria- West Side Story

Mezzo, performed at Glimmerglass during 2009 and sang three new roles: Tisbe in Rossini'w La Cenerentola and as a cover she went on stage to perfom Angelina in La Ceneretola and the Secretary in Menottie's The Cononsul. Int he fall of 2008, she made her Los Angeles Opera debut as Novice in Oscar winning director William Friedkin's production of Sour Angelica under the baton of Maestro Jones Conlon, Followed by performances at Florida Grean Opera of Flora in La Traviata and Tisbe in Lac Cenerentola. AT Lake George Opera in the summer of 2008, She sang Kate in the Pirates of Penzance and Lac Ciesca in both Gianni Schicchi & Micael Chings's Buoso's Ghost. In 2007 she collaborated with composer Rickey Ian Gordon as a solois  performing pieces fro his My Life With Albertine at teh Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. The sam eyerar she performed Maddalena in Rigoletto with Opera Western Reserve. In 2006 her portrayal of Maria with Ash Lawn  earned both critical and audience acclaim.

Jeffrey Picon

Tony- West Side Story

Tenor, in 2008, he performed the role with the Cleveland Orchestra and with the Long Island Philharmonic. The program is endorsed and narrated by Jamie Bernsteint. Picón regularly performs a diverse repertoire as a concert and opera singer. Highlights of recent seasons include Almaviva in “Il barbiere di Siviglia” with the Opera Company of North Carolina; Ramiro in “La cenerentola” and Don Ottavio in “Don Giovanni” with Lyric Opera of Kansas City; Paolino in “Il matrimonio segreto” with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis; “Trouble in Tahiti” with the Caramoor Festival; and Fenton in “Falstaff” with Mississippi Opera. In addition, he appeared in Wallace Shawn's “The Music Teacher” at the Minetta Lane Theater in New York, and as Tony in “West Side Story” with the Ash Lawn Opera Festival; and his Arizona Opera debut as Ali in “Zemire et Azor.”

John Dooley

Riff- West side Story

Baritone, is a native of Woodbridge, Virginia and was selected singer of the year for 2009 from Opera Theatre of Nerhern Virginia. His notable North American Premieres hae included Ashmodeus (Tobias and the Angel) bywith Opera Vivente and Rontino. Other professional opera credits include Guglielmo( Cosi fan tutte), Leprporello, (Don Giovanni), Malatesta(Don Pasquale), Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro) as well as in Musical Theatre appearing in The Best of Sondheim concert with Utah Symphony opposite Faith Prince, Alice Ripley and Gregg Edelman.He has alos helped raise money for the Wounded Warriors Fund and the Virginia Lions Club's Sight First II program through cabaret concert performances.

Teresa Eickel

Cio Cio San- Madame Butterfly

 

Soprano Teresa Eickel recently made her debut as Cio-cio-san in Madama Butterfly with Mobile Opera, a role she will repeat with the San Francisco Lyric Opera in May and with Ash Lawn this summer. Next season, she makes her debut as Liu in Turandot with Sacramento Opera and as Mimi in La Boheme with the Salt Marsh Opera in Connecticut . Ms. Eickel has also worked with Opera Memphis performing the roles of Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro and Lost Her Moccasins in the professional premiere of Corps of Discovery, a new opera by Michael Ching.  She sung the role of the First Lady with Ash Lawn as well as the Prism Opera Theatre in New York .  Ms. Eickel has also appeared with Connecticut Opera and Sarasota Opera.  She is a two-time winner of the Sergio Franchi Award and a 2004 Met Regional Finalist.

 

Valerie Nicolosi

Suzuki- Madame Butterfly

 

Mezzo Soprano Ms. Nicolosi's numerous operatic roles include Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro and Dorabella, Cosi fan Tutte. Of special note are the title role in La Cenerentola with the Raylynmor Opera and the Opera Providence in 2005 and 2002, respectively, and the role of Olga in Eugene Onegine with the Opera Theater of Connecticut.   She has performed with numerous companies, including Knoxville Opera, Dayton Opera, and Des Moines Metro Opera..  She has a Bachelor's in Music from the Eastman School of Music, and received her Masters in Music from the University of Tennessee .  Ms. Nicolosi is the proud 2002 recepient of a Shoshana Foundation/Richard F. Gold Career Grant. 

 

Peter Tantsits

Goro- Madame Butterfly

Tenor, has performed with Central City Opera, Yale Opera, the Aldeburgh Festival, the Morelia Festival Internacional de Musica, Chautauqua Opera, and Orchestra New England. He is the recipient of grants from the Britten-Pears Foundation and the Gustav Holst Foundation and has toured England , France and Russia in recital.  He received his Masters in Music from Yale University in 2004 where he performed the role of Léandre in the premiere of Gounod's Le Médecin Malgré Lui with recitatives by Satie. Other notable roles include Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola , Kudrjàs in Kát'a Kabanova , Ferrando in Cos ì Fan Tutte , and the title role in Platée.

Cory Renbarger

Sharpless- Madame Butterfly

Baritone, has recently performed the roles of Mr. Dashwood, Little Women; Sciarrone, Tosca; and Antonio, Le Nozze di Figaro , with Dayton Opera.  He received his Masters in Music from Cincinnati College , and twice received Honorable Mention at the Metropolitan Opera Competition.  Of his other notable roles he has performed with Moorhead Opera, Sorg Opera, and Cincinnati Opera Companies.

Becca Yuré

Annie Oakley - Annie Get Your Gun

Soprano, has sung numerous musical roles including Amalia in She Loves Me, Florence in Chess and Martha in The Secret Garden, and has performed with such opera companies as Light Opera of South Bay Cities, Fullerton Civic Light Opera, and Downey Civic Light Opera. Ms. Yure has also had the opportunity to perform on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show," recorded the end title to the movie " Party," and sung at the Hollywood Bowl and Los Angeles Music Center.

Matt Boehler

Basillio- The Barber of Seville

Bass, earned a bachelor's degree in theater arts from Viterbo College, He is the recipient of a number of awards, has twice won the Metroplitan Opera Council's regional competition and was a 2004 National Opera Association Winner. Mr Boehler has performed with the Minnesota Opera,Wolf Trap Opera Company and Centra City Opera. He also played the roles of Friar in Don Carlos and Sarastro in Magic Flute.

Deborah Domanski

Rosina - The Barber of Seville

Mezzo-Soprano, is the recipient of a number of prestigious opera awards, notably a Gold Career Grant from the Shoshana Foundation and the Marilyn Horne Foundation Award. She holds a bachelors degree in music from Chapmanc University and a master's from Manhattan Schoolof Music. She has also trained at The Julliard School. and sung with the Pittsburgh Opera and performed as an alto soloist with the Los Angeles Phlaharmonic, wher she sang Mozart's Requiem.

Jason Ferrante

Rooster- Annie

Tenor, comes from Baltimore, MD, whrer hi is a professor of voice at Towson University. He honed the skills he now passees along to his students while at the Julliard School, where he earned both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree and received the Alice Tully Scholarship. He has sung withOpera Company Brooklyn, SArasota OPera And the Aspen Opera Theatre Center. Opera fans may have heard him on NationalPublic Radio serving as a panelist on the CheveronTexaco Motropolitan Opera Quiz.

Troy Gordon

Daddy Warbucks- Annie

Baritone, received his bachelor's and master's degrees in vocal performance from the Nrth Carolina School of Arts and Mannhattan School of Music, respectively. Mr Gordon has also done poste-graduate work at Ther Julliard School. His opera Esperience INcludes stints at the Utah Festival Opera, Di Capo Opera, Piedmont Opera,and Rockland Opera.Roles include Montano in Othello andTeh Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance.

Jay Morrissey

Count Almavivia- The Barber of Seville

Tneor, holds a bachelor's degree from Notre DAme Universit and a master's from Roosevelt University. He also pursued further prfessional studies at Indianna University. He has performed in numerous opera companies, including Florentine Opera, Opera Illinois, and The Santa Fe Opera, where he played Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance, and was the recipent of the grand prize at the Bel Canto Foundation Competition in April 2002.

Rebecca Rizzo

Annie- Annie

Lyric Sorano, returned for her second year at the Festival. In additon to apprecticing at Ash Lawn in 2003 she has graced the stage of a number of impressive venues, including the Opera Theatre of Philadelphia, the Bronx Opera, the Pacific Opera and the Opera Festival of New Jersey. She holds a bachelore's degreee in music therapy from Duquesne University and a master's in Vocal Perfromance from Temple University.

Lt. Joseph Cable- South Pacific

Tenor, was a familiar face and voice at the festival for three seasons. He has been a soloist in Barcelona,Spain with Le Gran Teatre del Liceu .He apprenticed with Chautauqua Opera and the Chicago opera Theater. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in Vocal performance, and holds amaster's degree from Northwestern University.

Ensign Nellie Forbush- South Pacific

Mezzo-soprano has performed with New Yourk City Opera Opera Omaha, Chautauqua Opera, and Glimmerglass Opera. She has starred as Jo March in the Festivals's Little Women She holds a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from Texas WOmens's University and an artist's diploma from the Hartt Scholol of Music. A winner in the Metropolitan OPera's National Council Auditions in the New York district and in the Liederkranz Competiion, and won the grand prize in Connecticut Opera's young Artist Competion.

Margaret Lloyd

Princess Pamina- The Magic Flute

Lyric soprano, won first prize in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in the mid-wester distirct. She has a bachelor's degree in music and a certificate in music theatre at Northwertern University. She has performed with New York City Opera, Dallas Opera, Santa Fe Opera,and Portland Opera. She has been a guest on NPR's 'At the Opera," and her performance as Amy in Little Women was telecasted on PBS's Great Performances.

Colleen McGrath

The Queen of the Night- The Magic Flute

Coloratura soprano, holds a master's degree in opera performance from Boston Conservatroy, and her bachelor's degreee in vocal performance from Carnegie Mellon University. She has apprenticed with Utah Opera, Opera North, and Des Moines Metro Opera. Since October 2008, Ms. McGrath has lived in Berlin, but she continues to commute between Europe and the United States. She studies voice with Ruth Golden and acting with Marc Verzatt, and works with a number of talented coaches in New York and Berlin.

Sonja Mihelcic

Bloody Mary- South Pacific

Contalto, began her opratic carrer with the Belgrade National Opera in her native land. Since arriving in tht U.S. in 1995, she has performed with Dallas Opera and Forth Worth Opera and as a solosist with many orchestras, including San Antonio Symphony, South Bend Symphony, and Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra.

Ryan Ralph

Prince Taminio- The Magic Flute

Tenor, has sung with Nashville Opera, Austic Lyric Opera, San Diego Comic Opera and Bronx Opera, and made his debut with the Washington Opera in 2004's Streetcar Named Desire. He holds a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from Central Michigan University and a master's in opera performance from University of Texas in Austin. A versatile artist who has often sung and acted in musical theatre,he has also performed in Salzburg at the Austrian American Mozart Academy.

Bass, has performed with New York City Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, Baltimre Opera, and Fort Worth Opera. A frequent soloist, he has sung with New England Philharmonic, Fort Worth Symphony, and Eugene Symphony . An accomplished pianist he holds a bachelor's degree from Baylor Univesity, a master's from Rice University, and a doctorater in musecology from Harvard.

He has won many competiions including first place in the Rose Palmai Tenser Competiotion, Mobile OPera. He holds a full, four year schholarship at LouisiannaState University, where he majored in vocal performance.

Bass, is equally at home with opera and musical theater. He earned his bachelor's degree from norht Park College in Chicago and hie bachelor's degreee in music from the East man School of Music. He has sung with may opera compaines, including Natchez Opera FEstivel, SanDiego OPera,and Des Moines Metro Opera, as Well as whti New Yourk's Filbert and Sullivan Players.

Baritione, he received his bachelor's in music from Georgia STate University and his artist's diploma fro Oberlin Conservatory of Music. The winner of two Richard F. Grold Career Grenats, he apprenticed with the San FRancisco Opera's Merola Program, and since then he has sung with many dcompanies, including Chautauqua Opera, Atlanta Opera and Kentucky Opera. His performance as Ned Deene in Peter Grimes with the Boston Symphony uner Seifi Osawa was filme for PBS.

Mezzo-soprano, a mative of Seoul, Korea, received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Manhattan School of Music and has studied at the Israel Vocal Arts Institute and at Italy's International Institute in Chiari. She has sung wtih Baltimore Opera, Virgina Opera, and Santa Fe Opera, and sang the role of Mother in a world premiere of Jason Kao Hwang's opera, The Floating Box: A Story of Chiantown.

Soprano, holds a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College, a master's in music from Mannes College of Music, and a diploma from the Accademia Musicale Ottorino Respighi. Numerous awards included a Ricahrd Gold Career GRant. She has toured throughtout Europe with the New York Harlem Theater, and she has sung in Latin America and Japan.

In 2000 he sang the role of Wihlem in Mignon for its first Chicago production on over fifty years and work performing with many companies in the Midwest, including da Corneto Opera, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, and Bown Park Opera. A graduate of Adrian College, he was a regional finalist in the MacAllister Competition. He studied for two summers at the International Insittute for Vocal Arts in Chiari, Italy.

Mezzo-soprano, A 1999 winner in the Liederkranz competioion, she has studied and performed with Zurich International Opera Sudio, and has sung with Virginia Opera, Baltimore Opera, Utah Opera, Fresno Opera and Sarasota Opera. Her degrees are from West Chester University, Temple University and Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University, and studied at Tanglewood Music Center and Salzburg Mozarteum.

In 1995 she earned her bachelor's degree in vocal performance from Belmont University. A first-plae winner in the Nationa Association of Teachers of Singing competition, she has sown her versatility by recording in Nashville with Marie Osmond, Vicne Gill and Sandi Patti.

She holds a bachelor's and master's degrees in voice performance from McGill University.
